- Neal has spent 20 years working across each of accountancy practice, banking and private equity and has a detailed understanding of the different requirements of advisers, lenders and investors.
- He has worked with diverse stakeholders across privately owned companies to maximise value by developing and delivering strategy as well as by providing appropriate financing structures, and has worked as non-executive director and adviser to a number of boards. Deals included the sales of Furniture Village, Wimpy Restaurants, Red Funnel Ferries, Mono Global and Camira Fabrics.
- Since 2015 Neal has focused exclusively on working with privately owned SME businesses in Scotland, building on his UK wide network of funders and professionals and developing strong relationships with executive boards across Scotland. - For over 20 years, Eamonn has provided strategic and specialist tax advice to corporate and high net worth Individual clients covering most areas of UK tax. He has been responsible for overseeing and advising on the tax implications of numerous very large and complex commercial transactions and has advised some of Northern Irelands’ wealthiest individuals and their corporate groups.
- Eamonn specialises in corporate mergers and acquisitions and has advised numerous shareholders on the sale of their companies. He has significant experience in corporate restructuring, debt refinancing, merger and acquisition activities as well as financial and tax due diligence.

- Pam Gillies is a Partner at HNH and Head of Strategic Planning and Business Advisory. With 25 years of commercial experience in business planning, strategic planning and corporate advisory, Pam plays a pivotal role in helping organisations navigate complex challenges and seize new growth opportunities.
- Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, both private and public, where she has been instrumental in advising clients on long-term strategic business planning, business and investment appraisal, finance raising, performance improvement, organisational development, change management and mergers and acquisitions. - Paul trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG in their Restructuring and Forensics department after graduating with a first class honours degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2013, Paul worked for Viridian Group as their in-house Financial Modeller from 2014 to 2015, before joining the Corporate Finance team at KPMG in Belfast.
- Paul joined the HNH Deal Advisory team in February 2018.
- Paul is the Head of Deal Advisory Northern Ireland with extensive experience advising on M&A, debt/equity fundraising, and refinancing transactions.
- Paul also leads the Climate Focus team at HNH, specialising in transactions in the sustainability sectors, with particular attention on renewable energy and circular economy. His experience includes buy and sell side advisory work and raising capital, including project finance.

Harry Linklater

- Harry has worked within deal advisory roles within the Scottish market for over 20 years, acting both as an advisor, and retained board consultant and latterly adopting a dual role with client portfolio responsibilities.
- He has advised public sector bodies, companies and management across a range of sectors and scales of business, from early stage business and grant review, and due diligence to assisting the expansion of those with an international manufacturing presence.
- In addition to his transactional advisory role, he has performed a number of financial review and diligence roles for investors and public finance bodies, as well as acting for a number of property-related businesses, both as adviser previously within his role as a banker.
- Harry has acted for a major EU timber group for a number of years, acting on various strategic purchases to extend their manufacturing base and service offerings in the UK and Europe.

- Roger trained as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton, having graduated from the University of Southampton.
- He spent 5 years with Grant Thornton’s corporate finance team in Glasgow, before joining LBG undertaking large-scale portfolio loan sale transactions.
- After a short secondment with LDC, he joined Deloitte’s corporate finance team in Edinburgh, where he worked for 9 years before joining the HNH Deal Advisory team in March 2024.
- Roger has c. 20 years of M&A experience, focused on advising on disposals, acquisitions and fund-raising transactions.

At AMI, Derval lead a programme of change to bring the finance function in-house, providing the Board and wider Executive team with better oversight and analysis of business performance, aiding decision-making and driving business growth.

- Chris joined HNH in December 2018 as an Assistant Manager in our Corporate Finance team. Prior to joining HNH Chris spent 4.5 years working at EY; during which time he completed his training contract, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2017. Whilst at EY Chris obtained experience working across both Audit and Transaction Advisory Services; advising clients throughout the UK and Ireland on a range of matters.
- During this period Chris gained experience performing complex financial and commercial analysis across the IT & Telecommunications, Manufacturing and Financial Services sectors.

- Tom has nearly 20 years’ of experience across finance, banking, operations and accountancy. Tom started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, first in Prime Brokerage, then Derivative Pricing before settling in Corporate Banking.
- After a career break serving as Operations Director at a charity, he moved with his young family to Northern Ireland in 2015 and entered a chartered accountancy training contract with Harbinson Mulholland working across accounts production, audit, tax and forensics.

- Lucas graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with first class honours, completing a BSc in Economics with Finance. During his time at the university, he was awarded the prestigious Porter Scholarship.
- Lucas completed his training as a chartered accountant in KPMG’s audit team in Belfast. He has worked on the audit of several publicly traded entities in the UK and Ireland as well as several of the top 100 manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland.
- Lucas completed an MSc in Data Analytics at the University of Glasgow and was awarded a distinction following the submission of his final dissertation, “Comparing the performance of bankruptcy prediction methods”.

- Andrew completed his Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics at Queen’s University Belfast before training as a chartered accountant with PwC in their Forensics practice.
- After finishing his training contract in 2020, Andrew gained some experience in the industry as an FP&A analyst at Survitec before transferring to the PwC Corporate Finance team in 2021, where he expanded his expertise in M&A and financial modelling.
